PROMEDICA Hospice is in need of volunteers in Newark, Heath and Mount Vernon. At Heartland we depend on our hospice volunteers to help us provide the extra love and care our patients and their families need at this challenging time in their life.
We invite you to consider becoming a Hospice volunteer. Volunteers help hospice provide compassionate, quality visits to the patients their families and caregivers. Our volunteers work side by side with hospice professionals in providing comfort and care when they are needed most.

Join the Heartland Hospice Visitation Team!!
Friendly Visitor Volunteers visit with patients in there home or in a facility. Activities you choose to do could be running errands, staying with the person while family members take a break, reading the newspaper to them, watch TV together, or just holding their hand, we need you!
This is a very flexible volunteer position. Visitors needed during the day, evenings and on weekends. You choose the days and times you want to volunteer.
