Friends Book Sale
Tully Community Branch Friends of the Library Book Sale area

Tully Community Branch Library is looking for adult volunteers (age 18 and over) to join our Friends of the Library group. The Friends are non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting services and programs in their local San Jose community branch library. Proceeds from fund-raising activities, usually book sales, are given by the Friends to their branch library which uses the money to purchase various items not covered by city funding such as programs for adults and children and additions to their collection. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in libraries.

  • Market and restock daily book sales
  • Sorting book & media donations from the public
  • Assist in publicizing library activities and book sales
  • Assist with quarterly book sales

Being a part of the Friends of the Library can be an excellent experience to build your personal resume. We are open to your suggestions for ways to assist the Friends of the Tully Community Branch Library.
