LifeMoves is looking for volunteers who have a gardening experience who are interested in developing and managing a year round plan for our garden as well as providing some expert guidance for clients and volunteers who are interested in working in the garden at our family shelter in Menlo Park.
The garden in Menlo Park as 12 raised beds for veggies, herbs and the occasional strawberries, as well as about 10 fruit trees which provide yellow plums, peaches, apples and more.
Our garden allows for our clients to have a source of fresh fruits andvegetables, as well as a beautiful and peaceful area to enjoy while at the shelter.

Description
LifeMoves is the largest provider of homeless shelter and services in Silicon Valley. Our region is known for innovation and prosperity, yet the housing crisis is forcing thousands of our neighbors throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties onto the streets.
This is where LifeMoves gets to work.
With 26 shelter and service sites from Daly City to San José, we give our neighbors experiencing homelessness a temporary place to call home while providing intensive, customized case management through both shelter programs and community outreach.
