Effective communication & good people skills; 6. Willingness to develop relationships with, and serve as a resource for, homeowner families; 7. Ability to exercise confidentiality when dealing with partner family issues; 8. Ability to provide time and support to partner families each month during their pre-ownership period and periodically thereafter as needed; 9. Willingness to be flexible in providing family support
Job description: 1. Work with Habitat home buyers to ensure pre-ownership requirements are fulfilled; 2. Develop and implement required home buyer education workshops within construction timeline; 3. Work with families to ensure all required hours and activities are completed; 4. Foster a strong, sustainable partnership among the affiliate staff, volunteers and families; 5. Work to create a sense of community among families; 6. Asses family partner resources and continue to develop new and improved ways to support families; 7. Planning and execution of Home Dedication Ceremony once homes are completed; 8. Serve as liaison between family and HfH-MC discussing sweat equity hours, workshops, and other items as needed.
