The Period Clothing Volunteer assists the Interpretative Assistant in maintaining period clothing for the interpreters and volunteer living history specialists The Period Clothing Volunteer contributes to the overall mission and vision of Heritage Hill State Historical Park.
1. Assist in maintenance and upkeep of period clothing, including mending and darning using period appropriate techniques, general repairs, laundry, and inventory.
2. Assist with research of period attire, accessories and construct clothing and accessories as needed.
3. This position requires a flexible work schedule, some evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
4.Performs other duties as assigned.

Our purpose is to provide an educational experience that encourages visitor awareness, understanding and appreciation of the history of this region. Heritage Hill offers school field trips and outreach educational programming to elementary grades (K-5) throughout the year.
