Need help with Monday - Friday afternoon Pick Up. Driver comes in at 1:00pm and picks up food donations from 1 location. Drivers use a food bank van. This shift ends at about 2:00pm. Volunteers must have a valid WA driver's license and a clean driving record and should be comfortable driving a van. Volunteers should also be able to lift at least 40 pounds comfortably. Training will involve riding along with a volunteer or staff member a few times to gain understanding of the process. Training will also involve watching a short video. More information can be provided upon request.
****Want to help out with this, but can't commit to a weekly schedule? We are also looking for substitute drivers to fill in on an as-needed basis!****

We have been operating in Seattle's Central District for over 60 years, and we now serve approximately 1,200 families per week with free nutritious food. We serve any person who lives within the city of Seattle. We have a small staff and could not operate without the help of our volunteers.
