Sub Drivers for Bakery Pick Up Wednesday, Monday & Friday

Bakery Pick Up Drivers pick up donations of bread, pastries, cupcakes, and coffee from 8 locations and deliver them to our food bank. Drivers also help us record donation poundage on to our donation log. Pick ups can happen any time between 7am-11am.
The locations include various cafes and bakeries in the Capitol Hill and Central District Area. The route covers approximately ten miles of driving. We provide a map and a list of addresses and phone numbers for the bakeries, and training involves riding along with another driver to learn the locations and procedures.
This is about a 2 hour commitment each week and requires drivers to use their own vehicles.
As a Sub Driver you fill in when someone is sick or on vacation.

We have been operating in Seattle's Central District for over 60 years, and we now serve approximately 1,200 families per week with free nutritious food. We serve any person who lives within the city of Seattle. We have a small staff and could not operate without the help of our volunteers.
