The Front Desk Receptionist volunteer provides support by greeting clients and answering questions, guiding clients to appropriate programs and services, as well as answering the phone. Front desk receptionists are the face of GMHC as they are often the first person that someone interacts with at the organization. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Duties: Answer phones and relay messages to staff, provide a welcoming experience at front desk and answer guests’ questions, direct clients to designated services and programs, handle walk-ins for intake and work with high volume traffic at front desk.
Flexible shifts are available during our regular office hours: 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday.
