Library Tutor to assist young students, flexible schedules available

ORGANIZATION: Santa Monica Public Library - Fairview Branch Library

Volunteers are needed to assist young students with homework, reading comprehension, writing and math. Volunteers will be placed with a child and meet weekly at the library. Tutors can select the subject they tutor as well as day and time that best suits their schedule, Monday - Thursday between 3:30 - 7 p.m. and Saturdays. Tutoring begins during October and continues throughout the academic year. A 20 hour minimum commitment is required over the course of the volunteer placement.
