During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
From basic literacy to GED, adults come to Goodwill Gulf Coast by the hundreds each year to get help reaching their goal of a high school education. Help someone learn to read and write better, or help in the classroom as students prep for the GED test. Bad at Math? Help with essay writing! You can help in ways that use your strengths. Your efforts will help our students achieve their dreams.
Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies are the 4 subtests on the GED exam. Our students come to us at every level (beginner, mid-level, and higher level), so you can choose to help at a level that fits your comfort zone.
COVID update: we are working toward virtual and socially distanced learning for our tutored participants and volunteers. Please call Lydia at 251-380-7150 or email lgaudet@goodwillgc.org to discuss current schedules. Please bring a facial covering, plan to social distance, and allow a health check.
