Park Ranger Araceli Dominguez seeks motivated, fun, enthusiastic, go getters to help her beautify Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP). She simply can't do it all by herself, so this is your opportunity to make a difference in your park! Volunteers are needed to help pick up litter, trim back brush, paint, weed, haul/spread mulch at various locations in the park, including roadways, in the river corridor, on trails, near climbing routes, in parking lots and picnic areas. Learn new skills, share talents and knowledge, gain experience, make new friends and help make the park a better place! Many volunteers say they receive much more than they give after volunteering at MTRP.
Space is limited to 20 volunteers each month; unless otherwise specified. Interested volunteers need to RSVP by the 4th Thursday (before the event). Please email your name and phone numbers to firstname.lastname@example.org or call (619) 668-2744 and leave a voice mail with your name and phone number. The worksite location will then be provided to you.
Drinks and snacks will be provided by the Park Ranger. All volunteers should bring a canteen (no cups will be on site), hat for sun protection, long sleeves and long pants, sturdy footwear, gloves and any medication taken.
We'll work with your schedule.
