Construction volunteers are needed to assist with home building. No experience is needed to volunteer, just a willingness to help your community.
Thanks to the warm temperatures, we build year-round in San Antonio!
Our weekday crews consist of skilled crew members that work at the construction site Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. These crews follow the same guidelines as our other construction volunteers; however, we do not provide lunch on these days. Volunteers are also needed on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the year.
Volunteers 14 years and older are allowed on site with a supervising adult. Plan to dress for the weather and always have on closed-toed shoes. Habitat provides all tools and materials and even a free delicious lunch on Fridays and Saturdays!

Description
Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio was the first U.S. partner affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We are proud to say we built the first Habitat home in the United States have continued to build over the past 42 years for a total of 1,063 homes built in Bexar County!
Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio works with low-income families who would not otherwise be able to afford a house. We partner with families in need and help them build affordable houses for themselves at no interest and no profit. We are not a charity or a "hand out" program, but rather we help families help themselves.
in 2018, we plan to build 50 houses for San Antonio families in need. We can't do this alone- over 13,500+ volunteers will partner in construction with us this year to showcase the true meaning of community and compassion.
Habitat builds more than homes, we build stronger, safer, healthier communities right here in San Antonio!
