Are you a dog lover? Do you enjoy the company of man's best friend? If so there are tails wagging and a best buddy needing your assistance at Red Sky Rescue in Medora.
Red Sky Rescue provides temporary shelter to approximately 250 dogs. Several volunteers are needed to:
Taking laundry to the nearby Laundromat (about 7 miles away). Quarters provided.
Bathing and grooming the dogs.
Walking and exercising the dogs.
Opening and mixing dog foods in large plastic containers for safe storage.
Raking and cleaning the exercise yard.
Moving and stacking firewood used to heat the kennels.
Washing windows and walls in the front office.

Description
The Jackson County United Way Volunteer Action Center was created in November of 2010 to connect the volunteers of Jackson County to the agencies who are in need of their skills and services.
