We would love to have you volunteer for the Houston Games and Special events, Houston Rockets Basketball games, Houston Texans Football games, Houston Astros Baseball games and the UofH Stadium!
Tasks: Concession Stand- Cashier or Food Counter help. Most of all, we have fun! Individuals must be 16 years or older. Benefit: We offer group tips if our stand follow 100% of all of the stand rules for each event after payout.
- All individuals must/will be get TABC certified online for $7.95.
- Volunteers must commit to schedule and be on time.
- Must wear all Black jeans or slacks, all black non slip shoes, black shirt- stadium will provide shirt and cap.
- No purses or bags, if you have to carry a small wallet they require it to be clear.
- Free small lunch provided by the Stadium if you arrive on time only.
- Shifts are 8 hours but different start times per stadium per event.

Volunteers
There is no limit on volunteers, the more the better. All volunteers must be trained and TABC certified. I am starting early recruiting and collecting schedules. Please see the schedule below and pick your date and time.

Mission Statement
The Houston Birthing Connection is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization which seeks to provide support for middle- and high-school students who are parents in Harris County and the surrounding areas. Our primary goal is empower teen mother with the skills to escape poverty, to achieve the best futures possible for themselves and their children by providing information, resources, parenting education, career development, academic guidance, and emotional support to pregnant and parenting teens. By drawing on the strength of our diverse community, the Houston Birthing Connection hopes to encourage a sense of belonging which will combat the cycle of hopelessness, depression and neglect these young families often face, and encourage them to realize their individual potential, and become healthy, contributing members of our community.
Description
The Houston Birthing Connection was formed in order to address this need for support and education for young parents, especially those who are in danger of failing to graduate high school which could leads to a life of poverty. The program seeks to connect young parents with the resources they need in order to have safe, comfortable pregnancies and birthing experiences, and establish healthy relationships with their new children. The Houston Birthing Connection recognizes the need for support in all the diverse areas of young parents' lives, including academic performance, social support, and practical parenting techniques, all while maintaining the same goals of connection, education and empowerment.
