Kings County Library - Hanford Library
Do you like History? If you do-- than the Kings County Library is looking for you!
The Hanford branch has a local history room. A Local History Coordinator is needed to help assist staff with the use of the room and its materials. Duties may include retrieving historical documents/photos, organizing new materials or assisting patrons in the use of the room. The ideal candidate must have good customer service skills; a background/love of local history and computer skills.
This position will allow the volunteer to work with library staff, other volunteers and really cool historical items!
Volunteer orientations occur at Hanford Library in April & August.
Volunteer applications will be kept on file for six (6) months.
