Do you have a personal connection to autism? Or would you like to learn more about autism, while helping families of autistic kids as well as autistic adults?
By volunteering as little as 2 hours a month with Colorado Springs nonprofit Autism & Asperger Connections (AAC), you can make a big difference for families and autistic individuals right here in our community.
We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:
Childcare- over 18 with CPR and First aid to provide childcare for support group once a month and for workshops and special events. Background check required.
Grant Writers- help research and write grants for our organization (volunteer from home!)
Support Group volunteers - assist with (or moderate - orientation required) support group meetings
Set up and take down - assist with setting up/ take down for various events
