The Guest Relations Volunteer greets patients and visitors upon their arrival at the information desk and ensures they receive requested information and services. The Guest Relations Volunteer greets and dispenses patient information, as authorized by PHCS policy and in accordance with federal and state laws. They also provide internal escort services when appropriate and perform clerical duties related to lobby operations.
Volunteers serve as part of a team and it is the responsibility of each team to ensure every function is available to patients and visitors during their respective shift. This may include team members making special accommodations for their team members who may not be able to fulfill specific duties such as escorting.
