Help the weeds are going with this rain!

From April to October we tend over 1600 sq ft of land to raise vegetables for a local food bank, the Hospitality House(HH). During the past seven years are harvests have averaged over 2000 lbs per year. We can greatly expand that production with a little help from our friends.

On Wednesday evening we do most of our harvesting so that we can donate the produce to Hospitality House, a local food bank, on Thursday morning. However, we are flexible for corporate groups who want to work during the day.

We tend the garden throughout the week. You can arrange to come and work in the garden by sending an email to Pastor John.

Opportunities are available for planters, weeders, pickers, and cleaners. The latter rinses and cleans the produce to make it acceptable for the clients at HH. So even if you cannot bend down to weed you can come and help us prepare the produce.
