Would you like to cook up some creative meals while helping strengthen a volunteer appreciation program? Our lunch cooks prepare lunch for 20-30 people using ingredients that we have available at the food bank. Since our volunteers work through the lunch hours to nourish the community, we like to nourish them with a nice meal while they take a break. This is a fantastic opportunity to be creative in the kitchen! We are currently looking for help on Tuesday and Saturday from about 9am-12:30pm. Requirements: -Reliability -Must be comfortable creating dishes based on what is available -Must be comfortable working independently -Must be patient and able to work in a small kitchen -Ability to stand and walk for 3-4 hours -Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment -Must have kitchen and food safety knowledge -Must be able to cook meals for and interact with a diverse crowd -Ability to occasionally come in with short notice is a plus but not a requirement.
