The Marketplace is a choice food pantry operated by Madisonville Education & Assistance Center (MEAC), which is located within Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Madisonville.
We are searching for compassionate, respectful, and personable individuals to fulfill orders for our neighbors in our current Marketplace format, which is similar to popular grocery store pickup systems. Volunteers will receive an order, then be responsible for finding and packing items, as well as maintaining the orderly environment of the Marketplace.
This system reduces the risk of spread of COVID-19 by limiting the number of people in the Marketplace, while still allowing our neighbors to choose from a variety of fresh, frozen, and packaged foods, as well as personal care items and diapers.
The Marketplace is only open on Tuesdays. Most weeks, we are open from 9:30am-3pm (with a break for lunch between noon and 12:30), but we have afternoon/evening hours on the last Tuesday of each month from 1-6pm.

Description
Madisonville Education and Assistance Center (MEAC) was founded in 1986 by a group of twelve community churches & the Madisonville Community Council to pool the community’s resources & better serve individuals & families with critical needs.
MEAC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the support of over twenty community churches. It collaborates with the City of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Works, Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency (CAA) & the Freestore Foodbank - partnerships that have greatly increased MEAC’s ability to fulfill its mission.
