PointerRescue.Org, Inc. (PRO) is looking for a few dependable and passionate humans to help foster some amazing dogs. You should be willing to foster from rescue to adoption. The amount of time needed to find a forever home will vary from weeks to months. PRO asks that as the responsible human you do some basic training with your foster if they do not already have nice manners. Examples would be house train, walk on a leash, learn sit and stay as well as address and report any behavioral issues.
These loving Pointers are so much more than a Bird-dog. They make excellent family pets. Many are just looking for someone to take that chance on them
PRO provides support and reimburses all medical and vet needs including flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
PointerRescue.Org, Inc. (PRO) is a 501c3 non-profit group of coordinators and volunteers across the United States dedicated to the rescue of purebred Pointers.
We do not have a shelter to accommodate our foster dogs. We depend on wonderful volunteers for screening, fostering and transporting foster dogs.
PRO has a need for foster parents in several states; TN, GA, OK, FL, NC and several more. If you can't physically foster a pointer you can sponsor their care and supporting the foster parents thru our other volunteer opportunities.
