FREEDOM PALLIATIVE HOSPICE CARE Volunteers Needed for Keller, Grapevine and Euless

Cause Areas

It's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.

"The last good thing that may happen in a person's life could be a hospice volunteer."-Bettye Freedom Palliative Hospice Care needs compassionate and caring people to visit with hospice patients needing companionship and socialization. Interactions may include visitation, life review, pet therapy, reading aloud, watching movies, bible study, painting nails, doing small arts and crafts projects or playing music.... every patient is different! That's why we look for all kinds of people with unique interests to volunteer for our agency. The main goal is just to make our patients feel special, feel heard, and feel important during their final days. Our agency offers free individualized orientation and training focusing on how you want to spend your time volunteering. We have opportunities in our office if you want to work behind the scenes, or if you need student internship hours. Please contact Robin Reske, Volunteer Coordinator, for more information.
