CASA Project Worcester
CASA volunteers help abused and neglected childr...

Thank you for viewing this opportunity! We can use your help.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers help abused children to find safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible. CASA advocates fact-find and submit Court reports to the Worcester County Juvenile Court. CASA advolcates also advocate for needed educational, medical, and mental/behavioral health services while the child is in the care of the state. A CASA volunteer works with one child or sibling group at a time.

All of the children are victims, and 70% are under 12 years old. Approximately 40% of CASA's children are under 6 years old.

We need both men and women!

Men are encouraged to apply, since half of CASA's children are boys.

CASA takes about 6-10 hours per month, and most activities are done at the CASA volunteer's convenience. That's it!

CASA provides free volunteer training classes.

CASA also provides professional guidance and support for every CASA volunteer.

If you can find two or three hours per week to help, The CASA Project needs you. Call The CASA Project @ 508-757-9877 or visit our website: www.casaworcester.org or email us at volunteers@thecasaproject.org
