Like to work with clothing and customers? We need help in our non-profit thrift store. Displaying clothes and home decor items. Organizing kitchenware and children's items. Straightening shelves. Any hours between 10AM and 4PM, Monday through Saturday. Nice co-workers and upbeat environment. Also can provide Bright Futures Hours for teens (16 and up). We'd love to have you help!!!

Mission Statement

I Love My Island, Inc. supports children's activities from academic to athletics, provides assistance for individuals and families in short term crisis and provides assistant to seniors in need through a number of programs. We provide for our local Seniors At Lunch Program on a regular basis and are funding a Meals on Wheels program for home-bound seniors. Our Meals on Wheels Program need volunteer drivers on weekdays. The route is 9 homes in a centrally located neighborhood on the Island.

Description

We are entering our 10th year as a non-profit dedicated to Supporting our Island Community. We run a donor based thrift shop where proceeds are returned to the community through our non-profit. Our programs are focussed on those who need assistance locally. Our website (ILOVE MY ISLAND.ORG) has information on our programs or you can e-mail questions to cjp.ilmi1@yahoo.com. Our work can only continue because of our donors and volunteers and we are so appreciative!
