Volunteers please join our amazing care team bringing comfort and peace to hospice patients facing life limiting illnesses.
Charter Healthcare Volunteers work with patients and their family caregivers offering companionship, conversation and support.
Training is provided and we are flexible in working with your schedule. You will work in patient homes and various care facilities providing friendship, listening, letter writing, reading and talking about the patient's life experiences. Music and singing are not required, but patients really love it. We even have administrative work and crafting opportunities, such as lap blankets and decorative items.
Come and be a part of our care team and enhance patients' and caregivers' quality of life. All it takes is a smile to make someone's day!
