Transforming Youths Into Adults would like to thank each and everyone of you for showing interest of support. We are looking for volunteers 18 yrs and older to assist with our organization's fundraising efforts. We are now partnered with M&T BANK STADIUM, to vendor at all Raven's home games, and special stadium events. We need approximately 30 dedicated volunteers to assist on the cashier, grill, pop-corn machine, and serve alcohol beverages. We do have volunteer opportunities for youths 16 to 17. If you're interested please inbox or email (youths@tyia.org) us your first & last name, full address, email, and D.O.B for each individual. A background check will be conducted on all volunteers before you can start. We're hoping to have all participants info immediately so we can start training as a group. At Transforming Youths Into Adults, our mission is to change the landscape of homelessness for youth in foster care with connections to community support, life skills, education, and access to wraparound permanent housing services.
Description
Independent Living Services
We provide housing for foster youth accompanied with various trainings to assist with their transition into society as adults.
PRP Services
Psychiatric Rehabilitation is a set of holistic services we offer to assist and support individuals who suffer from debilitating mental health conditions. PRP services are an extension to therapy services and reinforce the psycho-therapeutic aspects of an individual’s mental health treatment by addressing what happens internally, mentally, and emotionally.
