Operation Backpack(r) is our initiative to fill in the gap for our region’s most vulnerable children. We collect donations of backpacks, school supplies and funding for academic enrichment to support more than 2,500 low-income and underprivileged children in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. Our goal is to ensure children achieve success despite their circumstances.
We will collect backpacks and school supplies throughout the summer, at four mall drop-off locations made possible through our partnership with Brookfield Properties. We are looking for volunteers to assist with our activities at Gallery at Harbor Place in Baltimore, MD. Volunteers will help to set up, engage donors, sort backpacks and supplies and assist with our packing events.
This volunteer event will be a fun and engaging way to make a lasting impact and support your local community. Help give children a chance to succeed and achieve their dreams!
