Student impacted by learning goods of covid-19 and family is impacted financially by covid-19. Student and family have indicated that student learns better in person. Root to STEM policy has been made clear to family and should be made clear to volunteer, that for in-person sessions, FULL vaccinations are required for all parties present for the safety of all parties involved.
I, the Founder of the nonprofit, was personally recommended to the student's family and was initially going to take them on as my sole tutoring student. However, I am currently stationed in another state and unable to fulfill the "in-person" request. Anyone qualified to step-in in part or in full is requested.

"At Root To STEM Education Foundation we envision and are working towards a world where a students access to educational resources and assistance are not limited by where a student’s family is from - RtS-edu’s online content as well as virtual tutoring, at-home projects/hands on environmental learning, and technology loans to STEM the Digital-Divide empower distance learning capabilities from the inner-city to the most remote communities.
We see tremendous implications for education equality. "levelling the playing field" for students in low-income or rural areas areas with locationally independent and free STEM, Environmental, and College Preparatory learning - leading to needed diversity in high-income STEM careers, engagement and knowledge in environmental fields and breaking the multigenerational poverty cycle - is at the heart of why Root to STEM Education Foundation exists.
We also provide private tutoring is STEM, general ACT/SAT/GRE and other test preparation for low-income area, opportunity zone, hub zone, minority, and rural students as well as ANY first generation college student of their family to help disrupt generational poverty.
