We’d like to invite you to a wonderful volunteer opportunity where we get to help pack and distribute hundreds of nutritional meals and snacks for kids and teens all over the Twin Cities.
Creative Church collaborates with community partners to provide 7 meals per kid each week and, to do that we rely solely on the generosity of volunteers like you to help get one step closer to ending childhood hunger.
We have opportunities available Monday-Saturday between 9am and 9pm. We typically schedule our volunteers for 2 hours.
10 Shifts
- morning / 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM
- afternoon / 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM
- afternoon / 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM
- afternoon / 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM
- 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM
- 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM
- evening / 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM
- evening / 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM

After-school programming and meals to engage students in learning & reduce childhood hunger for kids at risk.
Description
Free Food For Kids works to ensure that children have access to food, activities, and enrichment lessons. Kids and teens can receive all of this at multiple locations throughout the state, no registration or ID required! Locations are continuously added and updated-if you do not see a location near you, please check back regularly.
For children who rely on school meals to provide over 50 percent of their daily calories, COVID shutdowns and summer vacation can mean not knowing where their next meal is coming from. We help to fill the void by providing 7 meals and snacks each week!
While on site, every delivery team is equipped with resources to provide kids with daily enrichment activities. The activities are selected to reach multiple areas of each kid's life. There are resources for physical, mental, and intellectual health given through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic presentations. New activities and lessons are being added regularly. Along with the meals every site has been selected because of their ability to offer a variety of enrichment activities for kids throughout the week. Activities and days vary based on sites.
