Volunteers United/AmeriCorps Seniors is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to improve the quality of life, preserve natural resources and, satisfy the community needs for recreation, fitness and leisure.
Volunteers are needed to assist the event staff for the Mother's Day Event in the registration process, activities, and set up and tear down of decorations. Volunteers will be needed to register participants, hand out giveaways and assist in different special event activities.
Volunteers must be very flexible, conscientious and friendly. Must be able to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about the event, and able to lift 15 pounds, bend and stand during event. Must be 18+ to participate in this opportunity.
