Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow is joining forces with several schools and is looking for tutors to help students who are performing below grade level. This opportunity is open to either face-to-face instruction or virtual with Zoom.
The three main areas of support are reading, writing and mathematics.
If we have a partner school near you, you have the option of working face to face with students. Regardless of your location, you're able to work remotely.
Ideally, the perfect volunteers will be college students who plan to become teachers or retired teachers who still feel the urge to help.
All volunteers will be subject to a background check with the school they are associated with.
Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow is a non-profit dedicated to empowering our youth with 21st-century skills. The organization runs innovative programs that encourage youth ages 4-19 to build self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills through a variety of after-school and weekend programs. Thanks to our generous donors, all programs are free to all students.
Our mission is to empower our youth with 21st-century skills. We do this by providing increased access to activities that nurture the leadership qualities and skills that will be paramount in the 21st-century global economy.
The achievement gap between students who develop 21st-century skills and those who do not is wide, and Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow aims to fill this gap with quality before and after-school activities for students of all ages.
