You're invited to join Keep Pensacola Beautiful, the Arbor Day Foundation and International paper to plant over 100 trees in celebration of Florida's Arbor Day!
We will meet at the Keep Pensacola Beautiful office and caravan to different locations throughout the volunteer event. You will be trained on how to properly plant a tree and receive a KPB t-shirt. Please wear layers, clothing that can get dirty, close-toed shoes and a mask.
"Citizens are encouraged to do their part in helping to reduce air pollution, conserve energy, and beautify the State of Florida by planting trees! Planting native trees protects the environmental balance and beauty of the Sunshine State by preventing the spread of invasive plants and offsetting some of the potential impacts of climate change." - UF / IAFS Extension
