- Technical SEO
- Accountable for all technical related SEO action items and implementation
- Management of search engines access, crawlability,
interpretation, and indexation of Left Brains managed websites - Drive results utilizing proper URL parameters and pagination
best practices - Identify and implement user experience and accessibility best
practices with mobile first mindset - Development of structured navigation and site architecture
- Keyword and Content Optimization
- Lead research, define SEO and content marketing
opportunities, and maintain information architecture across
branded sites as needed - Accountable for all keyword and content optimization
action items and implementation - Monitor and implement short-tail and long-tail keyword
optimization strategies and development of optimal product attribution - Short-term and long-term optimization strategy given
seasonality and customer driven trends - Linking
- Examine backlink profile of competitors that is
already ranking well for desired keywords to gain
insight on the link building that helped them rise organically - Prospect and obtain backlinks from reputable websites
- Correct broken backlinks
- Disavow backlinks no longer of value
- Develop and implement internal linking strategy to
increase page authority
- Examine backlink profile of competitors that is
- Lead research, define SEO and content marketing
Website and Other Support:
- Work within the Big Commerce platform to coordinate SEO needs with
IT and complete technical updates, fixes or other needs that are
impacting organic visibility and ranking - Proactively troubleshoot and resolve site issues (400 level
errors, page load speed, broken links, optimize attribute product
feeds, etc.) - Support new product cycle launches (website optimization/testing)
- Monitoring on organic performance via Google Search Console, MOZ
and Google Analytics - Formulate metrics and interpret monthly reporting to measure
agency and client success - Conduct ongoing professional research and education, staying up to
date on industry trends - Develop and maintain content calendars and launch schedules
- Effectively communicate information internally to the appropriate
product teams - Create standard operating procedures, communications plans, and
training as needed to ensure internal and external teams understanding - Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Excellent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent oral & written communication, organization, &
time management skills - Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to form strong
working relationships with cross-functional team members - Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Exhibits a helpful, pro-active attitude
- Ability to work with multiple teams on multiple projects
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and
identify/resolve problems - Demonstrated organizational, decision-making, and analytical abilities
- A proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and
multi-task in a flexible and fast-paced environment to effectively
meet deadlines - Effective written and oral communication skills and facilitation
skills, with all internal levels and external vendors - Ability to work effectively as part of a team, but with little
formal supervision or guidance.
Special Skills:
- A basic understanding of content management systems (BigCommerce
experience preferred) - A strong understanding of SEM and technical SEO Requirements
- An advanced understanding of Screaming Frog, Google Analytics,
Search Console, Tag Manager, and Bing Webmasters - A basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as they relate
to SEO - Front end website optimization experience to drive sales
(preferably BigCommerce) - Demonstrates a strong understanding of Local SEO and Content Marketing
- Experience creating, editing, and proofreading written content
- Understanding of site maps and consumer flow charts
- Comprehension of data flow across multiple platforms (Oracle,
Salsify, PIM systems, CMS) - Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and advanced
skills in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems,
Marketing or related area, or the equivalent through a combination
of education and work experience - 1-3 years of hands-on experience managing multiple SEO campaigns
- 1+ years’ understanding of Search Engines and SEO tactics that
drive results - 1+ years’ experience supporting B2B and B2C SEM marketing efforts
- Understanding of one or more of the following SEO analysis
platforms: Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs - 1+ years HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as they relate to SEO

We were established February 2020. We are launching some of our programs between now and the end of the year. We need volunteers! From marketing, planning, finance, and hr recruitment. Yes, we are going to start hiring for our virtual tutoring program. We need volunteers!
