ORGANIZATION: Community Education Partnerships

This virtual opportunity is open to California residents only

Community Education Partnerships (CEP) believes in providing quality education to students in the Bay Area who are unhoused and to those facing housing instability. As a consistent presence in the life of a homeless youth, you can help build up that child’s confidence and instill a joy for reading and math that will help set them up for academic success.

We are recruiting virtual tutors for several of our students who are on the autism spectrum and/or have special needs. These students are in the 4th - 6th grades and are available for virtual tutoring on weekday afternoons.

This opportunity may be right for you if:
  • You have experience working with students with special needs as a teacher, classroom aid, volunteer, or caregiver
  • Believe in potential of every child to learn and grow
  • Are excited about being a consistent source of support for a student facing the duel challenges of distance learning and housing instability
