Are you passionate about making education and career resources more accessible? Do you want to bridge the gap between school and work? Are you looking for a way to volunteer from the comfort of your own home?
Well, CareerVillage.org has the perfect opportunity for you!
We are a tech nonprofit that connects students with free career advice given by real professionals in the field. We are currently seeking enthusiastic ambassadors to help build awareness around the platform as well as recruit new users to join the site in our CareerVillage Ambassador Program. You will gain valuable recruitment/outreach experience and soft skills that will help build your resume. There is also an opportunity for you to add this to your LinkedIn profile!
This is a completely remote opportunity which means that you can volunteer with us from any location and recruit in any community!
What makes an exceptional CareerVillage Ambassador:
- Commitment - we are asking that potential Ambassadors dedicate 3-8 hours per week for at least 4 months
- Passion - you will be talking to your network and community members such as students, professionals, and educators about CareerVillage, and we want you to be passionate about our mission!
- Communication Skills - through virtual and in-person methods, you will be doing outreach to community members

Description
CareerVillage is a web-based Q&A platform that makes it easy for professionals to bring personalized career information and advice to young people from low-income communities. Our goal is to help these young people achieve professional success by closing the career information and advice gap.
At CareerVillage, young people get answers to their personal career questions from professionals with relevant experience. All of this valuable advice is indexed and publicly searchable for other young people.
Because answering questions on CareerVillage is fast and flexible, we can mobilize millions of professionals who are interested in being mentors but cannot commit to traditional mentorship relationships. CareerVillage can also be easily integrated by educators into schools and after-school programs, making it highly scalable.
