Thanks for your interest in volunteering for Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN. Volunteer opportunities at the FB4K bike warehouse include cleaning, prepping or performing maintenance on gently used bikes. All skill levels are welcome! Volunteer shifts are a minimum of 3 hours and available everyday Monday through Saturday with some evening hours. You can self-select the date, shift and your job at our registration link: https://fb4kmn.org/volunteer. If you are registering a group contact the volunteer coordinator at laurie@fb4k.org to register your team. The minimum volunteer age is 12 with an adult chaperone until age 18.
We invite you (or your group) to join us in our bike warehouse this fall for an experience that we think you will find as rewarding as we do.

Mission Statement
Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN is a non-profit organization geared toward helping kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by giving bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, we organize thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then we give them away to kids in need.
Description
Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN is a passionate group of cyclists who love giving as much as riding. It’s our goal to help every child feel the joys and freedom of riding his or her first bike. Through our bike philanthropy method, we aim to help our communities grow stronger and closer through the power of cycling.
FB4K MN was founded in 2008, starting with a dream and a garage. Since then, we’ve become the largest bike giveaway program in the United States. We invite communities to donate quality used bikes that we then clean and refurbish with the help of thousands of dedicated volunteers. We work with multiple kid-friendly organizations to distribute to children and adults in need.
Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN intends to give away 15,000 bikes to kids in need this year.
