Substitute teacher needed to assist the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club staff as we operate as a ""virtual learning center" for at-risk youth with known low school attendance, low End of Grade test scores and limited learning resources over the first 9 weeks of the 2020 fall school year.

We focus on the spiritual, social and educational needs of our youth by providing mentors, athletic teams, tutors, an array of programs and events.

Our programs include: Smart Moves (addressing social issues like drug, alcohol, sex, health) Power Hour (Homework Help and Tutoring) Healthy Habits (Gym class, Social Games and Nutrition) Gang Prevention, GameRoom, Library and Computer Lab, Athletic Teams, Devotion and Bible Studies as well as Financial, Career and College help for highschool students.
