The Elder Wisdom Circle is an award winning online inter-generational program. Empathetic grandparent figures offer advice to younger generations on self-improvement, career, family, relationships and many other topics. The EWC has been featured in over 100 media outlets including ABC, BBC, NPR, the NY Times and many others. To date, we have facilitated almost 500,000 one-on-one interactions and our website receives 400,000 visits each year.
To promote our organization we feature one piece of advice daily; our editor selects the post, creates a snappy title, writes the lead-in line and edits for length or clarity.
Our current, fabulous editor is moving back to the UK and has other volunteer plans, creating an opening for someone new. We are seeking someone creative and dedicated, willing to commit to six or more months of service.

Our mission is to provide an opportunity for seniors to utilize their life experience and wisdom to help others by offering thoughtful and helpful advice to younger generations
Description
We are a web-based nonprofit service organization that pairs online advice seekers in their teens, 20's and 30's with a nationwide network of Cyber-Grandparents, aged 55 to 105, who share their hard-earned knowledge and wisdom. Our Elder members participate individually from their home computers or in groups at retirement communities (with the help of a facilitator). Anyone with access to the Internet can request anonymous advice on any topic and will receive a personalized e-mail response in return. The voice of experience is hip, sincere, and highly sought after by people of all ages; we are the most popular source of free online advice in the country. The Elder Wisdom Circle has been featured on ABC, CBS, BBC, NPR, and in many publications including USA Today and Time.
