Our goal is to help end colorectal cancer, to help remember loved ones who lost their lives to colorectal cancer, and to honor survivors. Join us for Roanne’s Race on March 28, 2020!
The Roanne’s Race Mission is to raise awareness of colorectal cancer as it occurs in people under age 50, and those of all ages, through an annual 5K/10K and kids run. Roanne’s Race is inspired by the life of Roanne Cairel.
We will need energetic people to help during the event. Jobs will be given either at the volunteer meeting or race day.

Mission Statement
Roanne's Race aims to bring the community together for an energizing run/walk event, and encourages runners to support us in helping to decrease the number of colon cancer cases in people under 50.
Description
Roanne's Race is a dream come to actuality in honor of Roanne Cairel. Before losing her battle with colon cancer at the age of 24, her friends and family told her they wanted to do something for her in her name, to honor her. She expressed that she wanted a 5k for colon cancer research, and they took that idea and "ran with it".
Roanne's Race is a 5K/10k run/walk event that will take place every year on the last Saturday of March, rain or shine. This year Roanne's Race will take place on March 28, 2020.
All of the proceeds from the race will be donated to support the research of colon cancer, specifically among young people. This year we will be repeating our support of Colon Cancer Alliance and its under 50 awareness initiative
