Join in the fun of improving a local playground! Volunteers are needed to scoop and shovel, push and shovel, fibar! Fibar is a specialized wood chip that creates the soft and cushy floor of the playground.
Using wheelbarrows, volunteer will shovel the wood chip and move it to the playground. It's a great way to actually see, how much work is being accomplished! Slowly, the pile disappears and the playground fills up!
Teens: earn community service hours while hanging out with your friends!
Families: come volunteer together!
All volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes
Bring a filled water bottle
The event goes on: rain or shine!
Service groups, athletic teams, faith-based congregations and neighborhood associations are invited to help make Palmia playground, safe and clean!
