Role of Community Ambassador:
The Community Ambassador will create ongoing visibility and awareness by aligning outreach with SafeQuest’s mission and goals. This position will work closely with our Prevention Education and Community Engagement Coordinators.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Transport to and from community events.
Video record and take photos at public events.
Represent SQS in a variety of public settings to increase awareness.
Evaluate and identify marketing needs and creative strategies for outreach.
Establish and sustain working relationships and partnerships with local organizations, businesses, community leaders, youth groups, institutions, etc. to strengthen SQS’s outreach efforts, referrals, and resources.
Research and document community outreach opportunities, vendor fees, registration and application processes.
May create engaging blogs and social media postings for review by the Community Engagement Coordinator.
