Description
The Adopt A Stream Foundation (AASF) carries out its mission by conducting Streamkeeper Academy programs, producing environmental education materials, and providing local communities with stream and wetland restoration technical assistance. AASF headquarters are located on a 20 acre site in Snohomish County's McCollum Park. This location is also home to the Northwest Stream Center, an environmental learning facility with a nature store, trout stream exhibit and a 1/2 mile long elevated nature trail that winds through and over wetlands, dense forest, and two salmon streams. The Adopt A Stream Foundation always welcomes help from volunteers in several areas, including: fund raising, membership services, administrative duties, staffing for the gate house and nature store, plant yard and grounds maintenance, Streamkeeper Academy teaching assistance, and stream and wetland restoration project assistance. Contact us today to find out how you can help!
