National - Gladly Serving U.S. Private Home Residents Since 2009 - Exclusive Consumer Information Service

(Opportunity Inquiries : 10 AM- 4 PM - Mon-Fri) "It's not a 'job.' It's a 'personal activity'."

If we live in private homes, there are occasions when we require assistance from individuals in the building trades to make repairs and improvements. Whether we pay the bills or they are paid by other members of our household, it affects everyone. Community-wise, the same is true in each home.

This is an opportunity for us to do our part volunteering online against home fraud to the benefit of those who live in the private home sector of our country. Living in a private home may not necessarily exempt us from addressing also the pressing need for being better informed to protect ourselves from dishonest tradespersonnel. Is this worth volunteering for? Yes.

*This Opportunity Strictly online.

Requirements

Aside from being 18 years of age or over; a U.S. Citizen who resides here, and computer literate:

  1. Detail-oriented.
  2. Very comfortable about sharing useful information with others.
  3. Passionate about what you do.
  4. Pro-private home setting.
  5. Self-motivated and able to accomplish your volunteer goals.

Description

Great! You are here! If you are fine with dropping off and posting flyers to help private home heads of your area make safer hiring decisions, this is the perfect opportunity. Thank you for stepping forward for this very special opportunity for printing flyers to share the news locally about the HGRBS "Free Service Policy."
All information is free. The nonprofit offers free information online for residents of private homes. This information helps them make safer and wiser choices about home improvement contractors they hire. In many cases, our disabled, seniors, women, and first-time private home residents are among the most victimized. You can be there to guide them to a source which is specifically geared towards providing preventative information.

Subsequently, as a volunteer Community Messenger, basically you are dropping off flyers at your community center (or other social organization). The HGRBS flyer for this social purpose is sent to you in PDF. You can then make copies. The helpful flyer contains the HGRBS web-address for residents learning more about the "Free Service Policy." There are also other free written guides available which they can access right away! Open source.

*After 30 days, Certificates Of Appreciation are sent to volunteer Community Messengers who have dropped off flyers which were posted indoors at community locations where they live. You could be one of the recipients.

If this social opportunity is suitable for you, please feel completely free to connect with Special Assignments for more details via Volunteermatch clearance. This helps HGRBS recognize your email as meeting its basic volunteer screening requirements.

THANK YOU FOR STEPPING FORWARD!
