Do you love stories? Do you devour books? Do you read tons of nonfiction, especially memoirs? Do you have some writing experience?
Then you may be the perfect candidate for our E-book co-writer position.
We need someone - with writing experience - to help us compile written interviews into a logical, storytelling structure for our patient advocacy ebook for cancer patients.
This project is:
- A collaboration with our president Andrea J. Wilson, whose writing has won national awards.
- A virtual position that will be done primarily online with Google Docs and Zoom meetings.
- An opportunity to be a published author depending on your level of contribution.
- A current resume/CV
- A nonfiction writing sample (up to 1000 words)

Mission Statement
Blue Faery's mission is to prevent, treat and cure primary liver cancer, specifically Hepatocellular Carcinoma, through research, education and advocacy. Our work will improve the quality of life for HCC patients, support their caregivers and give them hope, information and a voice.
Description
Blue Faery is committed to helping people with liver cancer, their families and their healthcare providers. Our programs include
- Adrienne Wilson Spirit Award -- a rolling monetary award for liver cancer patients who advocate for themselves and others during their cancer treatment
- Blue Faery Award for Excellence in Liver Cancer Research -- an annual research award honoring or funding innovative research specifically in hepatocellular carcinoma
- HCC Patient Education & Provider Project -- free HCC patient education brochures to patients, their families and their providers available in English, Chinese and Spanish shipped worldwide
- Liver Cancer Community -- online HIPAA compliant forum for HCC patients and caregivers available in English, Spanish and Portuguese
