Giving Tuesday is about supporting your community! While donating dollars is helpful, TIME is valuable! So this Giving Tuesday, make an impact with your TIME!
You're invited to support a local park that needs some helping hands. Ryland Park is a hub of activity with a playground, basketball courts, lots of greenery and picnic areas!
Please come help us spruce up the park! Your assistance will make the park cleaner, safer and more welcoming for everyone!
This volunteer event has a flexible start and end time: please join us anytime between 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Stay for an hour or the entire 4 hours--there is a lot to do!
Please wear closed-toe shoes.
Bring a filled water bottle.
The event goes on, rain or shine!

The mission of the Volunteer Management Unit is to create and support opportunities for community participation, in partnership with staff, which support successful completion of projects and programs to enhance the maintenance of public parks and the delivery of services for the benefit of the public.
Description
The City of San Jose Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services Division's Volunteer Management Unit serves the community by providing meaningful, safe and inspiring volunteer projects for those that enjoy the healthy benefits of environmental and community service.
