Do you know a group of 5-10 people who would love to spend time outdoors? We want you to join us at the Fire & Ice Festival in Downtown Rochester (across from the Fire Station). This 2 day event features outdoor activities and games, with a huge fireworks display at night!
Volunteers work in 3.25-4 hour shifts to assist event guests at various interactive stations. No previous experience is necessary and this event is great for groups! We are looking for volunteers for these shifts:
Friday -
4:30-8:30 SHIFT FULL
Saturday -
9:30-12:45
12:15-3:30
3- 6:15 SHIFT FULL
5:45- 9 SHIFT FULL
Bring your friends and meet new people! You will want to check out the TasteTent, ice sculptures and stick around for fireworks Friday and Saturday. Dress for the outdoors. We recommend you plan for the weather (boots, coats, snowpants, hats, gloves, rain gear, etc.)
Please sign up in advance by completing the volunteer application on our website: https://www.oakgov.com/parks/getinvolved/Pages/Volunteer.aspx.
