Thank you for your interest in applying to become our organization's Event Coordinator! Please note that this is an unpaid, volunteer position.
This position will include preparation and planning of celebratory and community-building events. This will include coordination of catering, seating plans, ensuring that audio visual needs are met and to ensure the event is marketed properly to the community. We currently have a BBQ event, golf event, Dinner Celebration and Sporting Clays event. Hours are part-time and some weekends are required depending on event dates.

Hands in the Community helps low income seniors, veterans, single parents, elderly, and others with everything from rides, fixing electrical, plumbing, building fences/handicapped ramps, painting homes, cleaning yards, and other handyman jobs. We do not charge for our services. HNC joins the hand of the helper to the hand of the needy.
Description
Hands in the Community is a non-profit organization established to provide volunteers, along with services in Tulare, King's, and lower Fresno County. We serve as a network, connecting services and resources between those who need them and those who can provide them. Working with existing organizations, as well as volunteers, we focus on not only fulfilling the needs of our community, but on building relationships and bridging gaps.
We provide an efficient network of services and support so that people in need can be ministered to in a timely & caring manner.
Our goal is to assist people in becoming self-sufficient and, more specifically, to strengthen the ability of families to care for themselves and their children.
