What better way to honor your Mother than to volunteer to help young mothers living in poverty in Southern California!

Help us build a team of volunteers at the inaugural JPMA Baby Show at the Anaheim Convention Center from May 13 -15, an event where GOOD+ Foundation has been chosen as the 2017 charity partner. As the featured charity partner, GOOD+ Foundation will be the recipient of all donated products from the show. To help execute this event and get critical items to families in need - such as diapers, car seats and strollers - we are looking for fun and dedicated volunteers to help the GOOD+ Foundation team collect donations, inventory items, support sponsors and much more!

To help execute this event, we are looking for fun and dedicated volunteers to help the GOOD+ Team collect donations, inventory items, support sponsors and much more!

We are looking for volunteers who:

1) enjoy being on their feet and taking the lead
2) have a keen eye for detail and organization, and
3) like to have a good time while doing some VERY rewarding work.

For all confirmed volunteers, GOOD+ Foundation will provide t-shirts, beverages and snacks, as well as parking and arrival instructions closer to the event.

This is the perfect opportunity for organizations looking to volunteer in larger groups. Each of our volunteer shifts can accommodate between 10 and 20 volunteers.

Mission Statement

Founded by Jessica Seinfeld, GOOD+ Foundation (formerly Baby Buggy) is a nonprofit organization that partners with a national network of leading programs to break the cycle of family poverty through the power of donated child products and life-changing family services. GOOD+ Foundation grants donations of products and services to programs that have demonstrated a capacity to address family poverty in three focus areas: supporting new mothers, investing in early childhood and engaging fathers.

Description

Founded by Jessica Seinfeld in 2001, GOOD+ Foundation (formerly Baby Buggy) is a nonprofit organization that partners with a national network of leading programs to break the cycle of family poverty through the power of donated child products and transformational family services. GOOD+ Foundation carefully selects high performing anti-poverty programs working with families at a critical pivot point in their journey out of poverty.

These programs provide comprehensive services (counseling, job training, parenting support) over a long period of time, allowing GOOD + Foundation to provide children’s gear and supplies to encourage and reward parental program enrollment and achievement in these life-changing programs. In this way, we can provide immediate material needs for a child, while his or her parents take the steps necessary to move the family towards stability.

OUR IMPACT

Through the generous support of donors and over 50,000 volunteers, GOOD+ Foundation has donated over 45million items through its partner network across the United States. The organization has been rated 4-Stars by Charity Navigator and received national accreditation from the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance for its efficient fundraising and operations.
