The Friends of The Newark Public Library will be hosting its 27th Annual Book Sale that will run from Saturday, June 2nd to Saturday, June 9th.
Pre-Sale help will be needed for Saturday, May the 26th. Additional help will be needed on June 2nd for cleanup after the sale.
Get involved and be part of the excellent and fun work of one our dedicated community-based groups!
The volunteers will be needed for helping on the following tasks:
Pre-Event - Area Setup - Cleaning and sorting books and setup of displays and tables - Saturday, May the 26th
Post-Event - Area Dismantling - Selecting and re-boxing remaining books - June 9th.
Note: These volunteer positions may involve during the Pre-Event and Post-Event heavy lifting at times, working in a dusty environment and, standing on your feet for long periods.
