Work with families and children in single-parent homes. Be a part of a very strong team at a well-respected agency! You will work with parents in co-parenting situations and family therapy with reunification sessions.
Learn basic counseling skills and in addition, earn a certificate in Forensic Counseling. Learn about court procedures, families in crisis, domestic violence, and substance abuse.
This non-profit has been working with low-income families for 32 years, and training interns and trainees preparing for license. We would like to meet you!
We are located in Santa Ana, Laguna Hills, and Los Angeles and currently conducting sessions through telehealth until it is safe to open with vaccinated staff, masks, and social distancing.

Mission Statement
F.A.C.E.S. mission is to provide community based no and low cost professional counseling and other services for children and their families in crisis from separation and divorce, and to provide education to prevent family violence. FACES is a training facility, offering opportunities for learning about therapy and working with California family law courts, social services and other community organizations.
Description
Family Assessment Counseling & Education Services, bettter known as F.A.C.E.S. was founded in 1988 for children and families in crisis.
Our Programs were developed in response to community needs They include:
- Family and Child Counseling, monitored visits, anger management, parenting classes, single parents groups, co-parents groups, teen anger management, childrens groups.
- Education Services for professionals who work with families. English and Spanish, Farsi, Korean, Vietnamese, etc.
Fundraising events include a volunteer recognition lunch, a barbecue, a gala dinner in the fall, a pie eating contest on CSUF campus, a Thanksgiving Feast for volunteers, several restaurant fundraisers, a casino night and Hearts in Action every year in February.
